I read the book. Though I am an Idukkiite, I never knew that it had such a story. Great book. The author has added his family touch making it more homely and engaging. If you want to know more about Idukki, then this is the go to book I will suggest. Every stone has a story and this book depicts one such story of a small land called Idukki. Great job. Expecting more from this author. God bless.

I am a travel agent but regarding Idukki, I knew only the story of the Idukki dam and the rest is just all about nature and mountains. This book is very informative and since the writer is from Idukki he has woven a great tapestry of anecdotes of his family which is a creative way to find his roots which is ingrained into his very existence making us think that each person makes an indelible mark to the place we live creating a story of the land. Great book, simple and deep just like the Idukki.
